Educational Qualification

To become an Army Clerk, the candidate should have passed 12th.In addition, he/she must have 60% marks in 12th and 50% marks in each subject.

Age Limit:

The minimum age for applying this post is 17.5 years and the maximum age is 23 years.

Selection Procedure

The selection process is completed in 3 stages:

• Physical Test
• Medical Test
• Written Test

1.Physical Test:

This is the first stage of the selection process, which needs a lot of physical training and strength. The following tests are conducted under the physical test:

1.Running:

Under this test, candidates have to complete 1600-meter run in which they have to take four rounds around a 400 meters ground within the time limit of 5 minutes 45 seconds. According to the performance and speed, marks are allotted to the candidates as follow:

1.Pull ups

There are marks allotted to candidate who will be able to perform 10 or more pull ups. Candidates who will not able to perform at least 6 pull ups will be disqualified.

• Jump

The third stage will include Jump test, in which the candidate has to jump a pit of 9 feet. There is no marks allotment for this round but it is mandatory to pass this test.

1.Balancing Vim

Balancing Vim is the last physical test, in which candidates have to walk on a thin band. This path to keep balance is zig-zag, so you have to maintain your balance on it.

2.Medical Test

Medical test is done after the physical test, if a candidate passes the physical test, then he can be called for the medical test at any time.

Under the medical test, the medical condition of the candidate is checked, and all his body parts are tested.

The written test is conducted in 2 stages which is as follow:

There is no restriction on the number of attempts for Indian Army Clerk Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want provided fulfill the other standards mentioned above.
